Flexi Africa displays currency based on the user’s location. This means that your order may not necessarily be processed in the same currency that’s displayed on your account.
While we're able to collect payments in most global currencies, it's possible your local currency isn't currently supported.
In these situations, your financial institution may charge additional fees for the currency conversion process. We recommend contacting your bank to fully understand any additional fees or charges in these cases.
You can change the currency on the top right section of the home page for your choosing.

Promotional codes are used for discounts off your orders.
Promotional codes can vary depending on the total amount and expiration date. To use a promotional code, you must enter it in your cart at checkout to receive the discount.
When a code is invalid, used, or expired, you will see an error message in red. Please be advised that only one discount can be applied per transaction.
Unfortunately, if you're unable to use your discount code before it expires, we're unable to regrant, recreate, or replace the discount

When you add an item to your cart the price and shipping shouldn’t change, but there are some rare exceptions:
There are 2 main reasons why you may see different prices for the same product:
The new rules will apply to all sales that have a time of supply for VAT purposes of 1 July 2021 or later.
For example, if an order is placed and payment received on 30 June 2021 then the new rules will not apply, even if dispatch and delivery take place after 1 July 2021.
For orders placed prior to July 1, 2021, VAT wasn’t included in the total price of your order. Due to this, your item may be held at customs until the VAT is paid. We’ve got your back if this happens! Please pay for the VAT and we’ll give you a refund for it (up to 25% of the original item price).
After July 1, 2021, you won’t have to go through this again. Item prices on Flexi Africa will include VAT, which will be collected on all purchases and sent on your behalf.

The user will receive an invoice to their email once the order is processed.
Flexiafrica.com is a marketplace for merchants to sell their products on Flexi Africa. In addition, Flexiafrica.com is a marketplace supports merchants to calculate indirect tax on their sales. While we're able to collect payments in most global currencies, it's possible your local currency isn't currently supported. If this is the case, your bank will need to process your purchase as an international payment, which may result in currency conversion fees.
We recommend contacting your bank to fully understand any additional fees or charges regarding foreign transactions.
In most countries, Flexi Africa only collects payment for the cost of the item plus shipping. As a result, your payment method will only be charged the order total displayed in your shopping cart at checkout.
Please read on to learn more about additional non-Flexi Africa fees that you may be charged upon delivery or pickup. These fees and their related policies are neither regulated nor affiliated with Flexi Africa. As such, Flexi Africa is not responsible for, nor will compensate you for these fees.

With the UK VAT changes, what happens to my orders placed before January 1st 2021?
The new VAT rules will apply to all sales that have a time of supply for VAT purposes of 1 January 2021 or later.
For example, if an order is placed and payment received on 31st December 2020 then the new rules will not apply, even if dispatch and delivery take place after 1 January 2021. Therefore, for imports, the consignment will remain subject to import VAT (unless it is below the Low-Value Consignment Relief threshold of £15) and supply VAT should not be charged. For goods already in the UK at the time of supply, the VAT liability will remain with the seller rather than Flexi Africa.
Beginning January 1st, 2021, the current VAT exemption for UK imports of goods of value up to £15 will end. For orders made on and after January 1st, VAT will be included in your purchase price on items of up to £135 imported into the UK. This also means that you will not have to pay any additional VAT at customs.
