Delivery date ranges are based on individual store’s processing time, where the item is shipping from, the shipping destination, and our own past shipping data from other customers in your area who have previously bought and received items from the same store. 

Flexi Africa provides a default shipping time on every item. It is recommended that each user looks at the delivery time upon purchasing.

Where are the items shipped from?

Since the products are made in China or Thailand (unless specified otherwise with the "African Made" category) and most Flexi Africa suppliers are Chinese, it makes sense that the best prices on the most popular ecommerce platform in their country. This means that most products are shipped from China. Entrepreneurs are then able to offer affordable prices to their customers who are looking for a great deal. Many vendors are listing products that are made by overseas manufacturers and wholesalers selling their goods at a lower price.  Flexi Africa also allows you to dropship items to any location in the world. All the items are shipped from China.

What is Flexi Africa delivery policy?

When viewing an item listing, you'll see the estimated delivery date for the item, depending on the shipping methods available.

Once an order is placed, you'll receive an order confirmation to your account registered email. This email will outline the estimated processing time for your order. Orders typically take up to 7 days to be processed and shipped.

Once each item in your order is shipped, you'll receive a shipment notification to your account registered email. This email will provide you with the estimated delivery date for your item. This date will depend on your location and the location of the store.

How long will shipping take?

Shipping times vary based on the item type, store location and the item’s destination.

You can track a package's status on the “track order” on the Flexi Africa website.

What shipping methods does Flexi Africa provide?

Flexi Africa is a global platform that connects customers with stores from around the world. Stores may offer several different shipping methods depending on the item variation and your location. 

The default shipping Flexi Africa offer is:

Standard Shipping - To maintain low shipping costs, stores will generally choose an economical shipping option based on your and the store's location and the size of the order. Once the parcel reaches your country, it will be handed over to your local carrier for the final leg of delivery.

How do I track an order?

Despite being on the web or mobile, there is an option on the website that says “Order Tracking”

Please note that depending on the shipping method used by the store, there may be limited tracking information available.

My package is late. What should I do?

Sometimes weather, high packet volume, or other unforeseen circumstances can cause postal service delays, it is recommended to contact us through the “contact us” page with the order number, item number and item name.

Why hasn't my tracking information updated?

To maintain lower shipping costs, some carriers used by stores provide limited tracking information. Many of our products are shipped from overseas, so there may be several days between scans if the shipment is moving between countries or territories.

We don't have any additional tracking information beyond that which is provided by the carrier and shown to you in your Order History. Rest assured that your package is safely on its way to you!

Why did the estimated delivery date of my item change?

Occasionally, unique circumstances such as weather, COVID-related logistics delays, or customs inspections may cause a delivery to be delayed. In this situation, the estimated delivery date may be updated on the order status.

Please note that it’s not possible to request a refund for a package that is still in transit and within the maximum delivery date. We calculate a maximum delivery date for every item in case there are delays that are out of our control. If your item does not arrive by the maximum delivery date, you can place your refund request within 15 days from this date. 

How do I change the shipping information for an order I just placed?

Before placing an order on Flexi Africa, you can change the shipping address directly at the top of your shopping cart.

After placing an order, you can change your shipping address within a limited update window. After the update window has passed, our Customer Support team can update an address for you up until the item ships. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need your address changed.

How much does shipping cost?

All items on Flexi Africa are free shipping.

Where do my orders ship from?

Flexi Africa is a global platform that connects customers with stores across the world, but most orders will come from China, Thailand or the United States. Your order could ship from a variety of locations depending on the store's location.

Can I expedite my order?

After an order has been placed, it's no longer possible to change the shipping speed or method.

Which countries do items on Flexi Africa ship?

Stores on Flexi Africa often ship globally. As shipping availability will depend on the store and your location, all the items you see in your feed are ones that can be shipped to your country.

Can I have my order shipped to a P.O. Box?

It is recommended not to use P.O. Box because some types of items that cannot be delivered to a P.O. Box. For example, large products, valuables, or items shipped via carriers such as DHL, FedEx, or UPS may require a physical mailing address or signature confirmation to be successfully delivered. Please keep this in mind when placing these types of orders on Flexi Africa.

Are there any items that can't be shipped to my country because they are restricted?

Stores are obligated to follow applicable law, including the laws established by the customs and border control agencies of the countries to which they are shipping. The platform has tools that stores can use to help to limit and/or restrict exposure of illicit items to customers based on the laws of their country. 

However, if you are still unsure about an item, we encourage you to review your country’s laws and regulations regarding imported products before making a purchase

Customs, VAT, & Taxes

How does the new EU VAT work?

The new rules will apply to all sales that have a time of supply for VAT purposes of 1 July 2021 or later.

For example, if an order is placed and payment received on 30 June 2021 then the new rules will not apply, even if dispatch and delivery take place after 1 July 2021.

Does Flexi Africa charge for customs, taxes, VAT, or any other extra fees?

Flexi Africa only collects payment for the cost of the item with free delivery. As a result, the payment method will only be charged the order total displayed in your shopping cart upon checkout.

Other fees, such as customs, taxes, or VAT may be required for your order under the complete discretion of your local government. These fees and their related policies are neither regulated nor affiliated with Flexi Africa. 

Flexi Africa adjusts our tax policy procedures depending on the rules and regulations of each locale. You can read more about our Tax Policy by visiting your government website.

How does Flexi Africa calculate sales tax?

Sales tax is dictated by your local and/or regional regulations and is not affiliated with Flexi Africa. Please keep in mind that all charges are displayed in your shopping cart before placing an order.

Will I be charged international bank fees when ordering?

While we're able to collect payments in most global currencies, it's possible your local currency isn't currently supported. If this is the case, your bank will need to process your purchase as an international payment, which may result in currency conversion fees.

We recommend contacting your bank to fully understand any additional fees or charges regarding foreign transactions.

What should I do if I'm charged for a customs fee to pick up my package?

In most countries, Flexi Africa only collects payment for the cost of the item plus shipping. As a result, your payment method will only be charged the order total displayed in your shopping cart at checkout.

Please read on to learn more about additional non- Flexi Africa fees that you may be charged upon delivery or pickup. These fees and their related policies are neither regulated nor affiliated with Flexi Africa. As such, Flexi Africa is not responsible for, nor will compensate you for these fees.   

Customs: You may be charged customs fees based on your local regulations. Additionally, you may be fined for purchasing products that violate your local regulations. We recommend contacting your local customs office if you have any doubts or questions about whether your item will have a fee and/or be permitted into your country.

VAT: In most regions, Flexi Africa doesn’t charge for Value-Added Tax and cannot cover any charges that your country may add. Flexi Africa adjusts our tax policy procedures depending on the rules and regulations of each locale.
